RealTime Shredding Introduces Dealer Program for The Self-Service Shredder
Tallahassee company signs teaming agreement
Colorado Springs, Feb. 14, 2007 – RealTime Shredding, Inc., developer of the nation’s first self-service shredding kiosk, has added its first dealer, Identity Theft Solutions Corporation of Tallahassee, Fla.
Through the teaming agreement, Identity Theft Solutions will market The Self-Service Shredder as an integral document destruction services offering. The company, which provides fraud protection and resolution services and products, sees The Self-Service Shredder as a means to address a market that has not yet been fully served.
“The Self-Service Shredder fills a need for small and mid-sized businesses and organizations for which neither home shredders or mobile shredding are appropriate,” says Keith Carr, Identity Theft Solutions president. Home shredders, he explains, “can be laborious, time-intensive, and unsafe” for business use. On the other end of the spectrum, mobile shredding is not cost-effective for small and mid-sized businesses. RealTime Shredding offers “a superior product – one that we wanted to be among the first to market,” Carr states.
Businesses and organizations that need to employ stringent guidelines in guarding and destroying personal information will find the self-service shredding kiosk most useful, says Carr. These include accountants, tax preparers, financial advisors, banks, credit unions, and multi-occupant buildings. He adds that The Self-Service Shredder also will be a strategic asset for centralized government offices, universities, and community colleges.
The Self-Service Shredder crosscut shreds paper, cardboard, credit cards, paper clips, staples, CDs, DVDs, and floppy disks. The industrial-strength shredder, featuring multiple control points for maximum safety, can shred up to 200 sheets of paper a minute. Individuals can bring in any material they would like to shred and do so, quickly and efficiently, shredding up to 200 sheets of paper a minute.
RealTime Shredding plans to expand its dealer program nationally, according to Amanda Verrie, president. “The need to shred and prevent identity theft has never been greater,” she explains. “Our dealer network can help us broaden public access quickly and efficiently.”
